Visiting Oz this summer? Don't forget to pack your mirror pants!

Reflekto is a small village right on the border between Munchkinland and the Quadlings, and it's bound to be one of the shiniest places you'll ever see, and no we don't mean rhetorically! Reflekto was voted the no.1 destination in Oz Magazine last year to get your shine on!

It is customary in the town to wear at least one article of clothing or accessory that is made of a highly reflective fabric, and to the casual viewer, it looks akin to wearing a mirror on one's body. The cloth everyone wears is the local export of Reflekto, made from an element native to the sands of the region - Reflektanium.

A local weaver of the region says, "I remember my grandfather, who opened the shop I weave at today, trudging to the border of Oz, to the sands, with countless pails to harvest and bring back buckets of raw Reflektanium. Now we go out there in groups, but back then they made the dangerous trip alone."

Not keeping in accordance with the local custom is akin to a faux pas, and bound to get you quite a few ugly stares in the local marketplace. Reflektanium bathing suits (commonly called mirror bathing suits) are very popular here, as well as hats. The locals fondly remember Dorothy, who never visited the town, but to whom a local had traveled to offer the Tin Man a shinier hand, made of hardened Reflektanium, but he had kindly declined the offer, citing a certain attachment to his dull hand.

So if you visit Oz this summer, drop into this little town! Be sure to take in the glistening marketplace, pick up a mirror bathing suit, and do ask the locals about the Tin Man, for they love to tell that story!
